Smartphones for £100-£200?
I'm looking for something really smooth and smart, something with WiFi and a decent camera as well, and it has to be Android. I was thinking the Samsung Galaxy Ace, it looks rather nice. Be hard to decide what colour though. I know HTC are rather good as well, and maybe LG or Nokia but I'm sure they are rather a lot now. Any suggestions?

Hi There.

I’d like to try and help you here if I can.

You haven’t mentioned whether you’re looking at Pay as you Go or Contract here, but given the phones you have mentioned I’m going to assume that you are referring to PAYG.

With that in mind, I’d like to highlight a couple of handsets for you to consider, the Sony Xperia U, Nokia Lumia 800 and the Samsung Galaxy Ace 2.

The Sony Xperia U has a 3.5" touchscreen which is powered by Sony’s Mobile Bravia technology, The Xperia U is also quite light as it only weighs 110g. In terms of internal technology, the Xperia U has a 1GHz Dual Core processor. A full suite of Google apps are also included in this handset so Maps, Gmail and Youtube are there for you right out of the box. A 5mp camera only adds to this very capable handset. Take a look at the link below to see a few more details.

This handsets is currently available from us on multiple networks from £114.89

The Nokia Lumia 800 handset is playing a big part in the success of the new Nokia Lumia smartphone range. It's got a stylish design, 3.7" AMOLED screen that is slightly larger than that on the iPhone 4S. It also has a powerful 8MP camera, 16GB internal memory plus 25GB Sky Drive and facebook photo album sync so you should really never run out of storage space.
Some other cool features are it runs on the new Windows 7.5 Operating System, comes with Internet Explorer 9 for fast browsing, and also has an exclusive ESPN sports App. Take a look at the link below to view a few more details.

Finally, the Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 has a 3.8” TFT capacitive touchscreen. It has 800Mhz Dual core processor so it’s fair to say that it combines brilliant processing power with an array of initiative features like the TouchWiz UX 4 interface. The Ace also features a 5MP camera capable of 720p video capture making it easy to capture great photos. There’s also plenty of room for you entertainment content thanks to the 4GB onboard memory which is expandable to 32gb via microSD card. Naturally, being a smartphone you also get Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB connectivity. Take a look at the link below to see a few more details.

I hope that this helps to make your decision a little easier.
