Can I get swine flu through the internet?
A friend of mine on Facebook says that one of his friends on Facebook got swine flu and now he has it. Is there a chance that he caught it while using the internet/Facebook?

I'm really scared that I might catch it.

really?
your asking this question,
thats like asking if you can get
AIDs or a cold over the computer,
gosh, that was a question that shouldn't have been posted.

your friend probably caught it from his friend . . . IN PERSON
THOUGH not over the internet.

Nope! The only way you could "catch" swine flu from the computer is if you/someone in your household has it and coughs/sneezes/touches your keyboard and then you touch the keyboard before you eat/rub your eyes etc. Overall very unlikely =)

I dont think so. I will give you an Idea what is swine flu.

To start off with, your first question may be “What is swine flu anyway?” In short, it’s a respiratory disease that originally showed up in pigs. The strain that is affecting humans is a new strain of the virus dubbed novel H1N1 by the United States government.

Obviously, discovering how is swine flue transmitted means understanding that swine flu normally does not infect humans. Only those who were in constant, direct contact with infected pigs was at risk.

Now this particular strain of the virus is airborne and is passed on through person-to-person contact.

And another thing, the swine flu incubation period can last for up to 7 days after you’ve been in contact with an infected person.

You can also follow the link below on other related questions.
