Like I know girls have their celebrity crushes and all but what if it gets to the point where for instance their asking questions on here like "Does anyone know if this celebrity is single? What type of girls does he like?" and all this other stuff like whats his favorite food and she hardly ask stuff about me and doesn't seem to want to even know me that deep. I mean started a twitter page to follow him (and when i tried to get her to make one with me she said whats the point until she found the celebrities she likes) she even spreads the word to other friends and likes all the facebook pages. I know she loves me but i feel like I don't have those qualities and looks she likes in celebrities. I feel like if the celebrity liked her she would leave me.... I guess I just want to feel like a celebrity in her eyes sometimes.... I know this gay and over emotional for a guy but give me input please

Don't worry, you're not alone in this. A lot of guys get pissed about that stuff, just not as openly as some. Sounds like you need to talk it out with her if you want the relationship to feel more mutual.

Dude,it's immature to be jealous of anything. Especially someone she's never gonna meet in person. I've really gotta question the wisdom of dating a girl who is into all that celebrity crap. Just how dumb is she anyway?

Yeah, she's going a little overboard with her celebrity crush. I mean, my wife likes David Duchovany and another actor (Lol, I can't remember the other guy's name, the one from Silk Stalkings) but she's in love with me and she expresses that regularly so it doesn't bother me at all. But if your gf is paying more attention to a person she will never be with than with you that's like a form of emotional cheating. It's okay to have infatuations with celebrities, but not to let them interfere with real life relationships. I would be just as offended as you are by the way she practically ignores your attempts to draw interest to yourself. Tell her how you feel and don't let her off the hook in understanding and trying to work on the way she casts you aside or she is not really taking your relationship seriously and that's not a good sign.

Hey dude, be honest. Are you telling us that you have never found a female actress at least half way beautiful and wouldn't mind meeting her? I have and my wife knows all about her. She also knows that I love her deeply. I also know who her favorite actors are since she makes comments whenever they are on television. I feel this way..... Who cares? After all, what are the odds of me ever meeting, dating and marrying Kate Winslet? Or, for that matter, my wife meeting George Clooney? It's just a fantasy. And, yes I do agree with the idea of you getting your favorite actress and following her in the same fashion. And, by the way, don't ever worry about being "over emotional." Someday, this world will find out that men have emotions too, but this is a different topic.....
