I just joined Facebook and want to join a group to discuss "but" face book request my credit card number?

I responded to a group and a pop up said "You must confirm your mobile phone number or credit card number before you can post in this group". So is this normal facebook wanting my phone number and / or credit card number?

Facebook do not ask for credit card number or mobile phone number to join any group or page.
Report the group to facebook.
its a scam. and check your computer for any virus or torjons that might have come to your machine.

Its a virus. Facebook never asks credit card number.AVAST antivirus and reginout system cleaner can fix it.
