Difference between a Blog and a Website?

Im 13 and i want to start my own website.. Or blog.
My friends have blogs;wordpress and blogger,but they are stardoll fanatics so there blogs r about stardoll,mine is going to be about fashion.
I know what websites are and stuff but arent blogs kinda like facebook? What is better for me,a 13 year old a blog or a website? Can you tell me what blogs can do that websites cant and the other way round? I have a name planed already so i dont need them
Please tell me step-by-step what are websites and what are blogs... And all my other questions also i want to creat my blog/website on my ipod touch so links for apps please! Also click on my profile to answer more of my questions!!
P.S on my blog/websites can i upload videos? I wantes to do some make up tutorials of ME,is that OK? (im 13..)

Go to .webs and get a free web site. You can add any thing to it like blogs or videos pictures and even items for sale.
You only need to set up a free PayPal account and that dosent require any thing.

If you want it to have a specific name go to godaddy.com and buy the name you want then have it forward to the .webs site to avoid paying for hosting. They can tell u how to do it over the phone.
