Are people forgetting that God is in control and that in the end, God and His justice will prevail?
Since the November elections we have never seen so much despondency and despair. We're hearing from so many people who say they are depressed, see no way out, and are just giving up.

And, yes, things are looking worse than ever before.

Four more years of Barack Obama. More socialist politicians elected to Congress. Election fraud. Radicals running the government. Union thuggery and violence openly allowed, but pro-family protest suppressed. "Occupy" mobs allowed to take over areas of cities. The homosexual and transgender movements being celebrated in the White House and federal agencies. Religious beliefs being suppressed and even punished in businesses, government, public schools, and the courts. The Constitution being openly ignored. The media and popular culture on an aggressive cultural jihad against Christianity. The TSA groping travelers. Taxes going up to pay for bloated government. The massive deficit. The massive bailouts. The looming inflation and economic disasters. The ObamaCare nightmare descending on us. And on and on. And the "opposition" Republican leadership with no backbone or will to fight back.

"It's finished. America's done. I'm giving up." We're hearing that everywhere. People are feeling beaten and completely powerless.

We must remember that God always prevails over evil and that He is in control. He is the Author of life and the Creator of existence who is above all creatures. God is so great and wonderful that He needs nothing to make Him greater or more wonderful. He possesses all perfections, countless, innumerable, illimitable, boundless. God cannot be better, holier, or more perfect than He already is. He is at the acme of perfection, the uncreated, the Infinite. He is above all the created, though something of Him, some likeness of His Being, may be found in every creature, but even were all creatures, from the most glorious seraphim to the lowliest of moss, to combine their powers and perfections, theirs would be a faint shadow of God's all-encompassing supremacy.

God preserves and governs the world. If He were to take away for one instant His sustaining power, the whole creation would at once fall back into nothingness. It is as if He held us in His hand. If He withdrew it for a moment, we would be nothing.Nothing happens without the will or permission of God. Our Lord tells us that not one sparrow falls to the ground without the will of our Heavenly Father, and that the very hairs of our head are numbered. God is to the world and men as the engine is to a train, as the pilot is to a ship. He guides the whole universe and all creatures. He guides the nations.

We need to remember that we have to have trust in Him and His divine providence and that in the end, He will prevail over all evil.

It is true that God's justice will prevail in the end, but God relinquished control when He gave human beings free will. This gift allows human beings to place their will in control over God's will, and many do so.

I find it ironic that you mentioned 'religious beliefs being repressed' while simultaneously acting as if only your religious beliefs matter.

People are not 'forgetting' that your God is in control, they just disagree.

The combination of politics and religion will be the death of democracy.

Wow so much ignorance and falsehoods. Let's just start here:

"And, yes, things are looking worse than ever before."
- No, you are writing in an age of prosperity. This is the most peaceful, most healthy, most prosperous era in history. Any person in any age of history would love to live in our time in the western world.

"Four more years of Barack Obama. Religious beliefs being suppressed and even punished in businesses, government, public schools, and the courts."

- What is your beef with socialist programs? Do you not understand how that helps massive amounts of people? Are you against fire-fighters, the police and the military? Those are all socialist programs you know. Unions are good for workers, they can enforce fair treatment.
Pro-family is not suppressed, unless you mean the anti-abortion crowd which is just another religious hate movement. In fact, it's the republicans that are anti-family with their hatemongering against same-sex marriages. And yes, that is a good thing for a healthy society; gays are not a threat to anything and they just want to be treated like everyone else.
I have no clue about your religious belief claims. I think you're mistakenly thinking that not getting a preferential treatment somehow translates to suppression and punishment. No it's not. Don't be stupid.

"The Constitution being openly ignored."
- Funny, that is exactly what G.W. Bush did. The Constitution of the United States explicitly mentions that no religious test should be taken and no religion should get preferential treatment.
Let me guess, you have no clue what you're talking about here, do you?

"The media and popular culture on an aggressive cultural jihad against Christianity. "
- No, again you have no clue what that means. Just because not everyone screams that Christianity is the be-all-end-all of everything doesn't mean you're actively being oppressed. If you want an example of oppression, look at any theocracy (religion dominated country) where non-believers are killed on sight.

"The TSA groping travelers."
- I agree on that one. That stuff is ridiculous. It also doesn't fit with the rest of your tirade so I'm curious how that snuck in. Just throwing everything you're pissed about on 1 big pile and blame a random cause?

"Taxes going up to pay for bloated government. The massive deficit. The massive bailouts. The looming inflation and economic disasters. The ObamaCare nightmare descending on us."

- Actually, Obama is doing an amazing job in trying to get the country back on track. Bush' wars and policies are the main cause of the enormous deficit. Obama hasn't worked on some of the bad regulations, but mostly his policies have enhanced the country for years to come.
You guys could use some more taxes, social policies and government regulations because currently you're being destroyed by greedy corporations. Capitalism is a good system, but unregulated it's more destructive then anything for an economy.

""It's finished. America's done. I'm giving up." We're hearing that everywhere. People are feeling beaten and completely powerless."
- No you hear that from religious nuts and hatemongering preachers. Stop listening to the religious zealots and actually do some research yourself. Life is good, you just don't know it yet because you're listening to people trying to make you feel bad so they get power over you. Don't be a victim.

For the rest of your text, let's just leave it at this: There is no god and there won't be a saviour making everything all right. We, humans, have to make things right and leave this world a better, liveable, place for our children.

Now is not the time to whine. Now is the time to pray.
Try praying the rosary. If not, stop complaining. Just give up.

Are you from the past?

Go ahead and give up. We need a lot less people like you.

Are you forgetting that it's God's place to judge others, not yours? (Matthew 7:1) Now did you actually have a question?
