Social media websites have their advantages because they allow you to keep in contact with so many people, and it's a lot easier to communicate with people. I feel these advantages come at a price though. Online social interaction does not replace personal interaction with real people in real life. I feel like all this technology is just isolating us.

What do you think?

I think social media compliments or supplements personal communication. It doesn't replace face to face. People go out with their families and friends and share photos and stories about the events.

However, yahoo! Answers is a perfect example of what you are talking about.
