Do you think people have a more strict impression of what a woman's "nature" should be?
Than a man's

First and foremost: No ranting answers please, you know who you are.

I ask this question because *in my experience* of perusing the internet, people who have a special interest in whoring over men's achievements (which are, let's remind ourselves, not theirs specifically and so not theirs to brag about) constantly pull facts and figures out their ar$e that supposedly support men being more likely to "break away from nature" and create/invent.

However, I see an equal amount of people (mostly men) going on about how their ideal woman is feminine, sweet, agreeable, attuned to her "proper nature." People of both sexes, who invent and create things, are almost none of these. You have to push yourself beyond perceived limits to achieve things. So how do these type of people expect to experience more women like this when they purposefully surround themselves with silly ideals?
I don't see it as a rant, especially not when I have selected and displayed hypocritical behaviours of some men as a basis for this question.
@chick b

Without getting into the logistics of what constitutes genius anyway, there have been PLENTY of female geniuses and inventors, all you have to do is know where to read (or just open your eyes) There is no use trying to pretend it hasn't and doesn't happen when it DOES.

Besides, did YOU invent anything?

Your question is a rant. Why shouldn't the answers be the same?

Yes. Most people don't know the TRUE NATURE of men and women because we are both conditioned to be what ever society wants us to be as soon as we come out of the womb.

The only people who achieve greatness are the ones who don't let society break them with its gender and social oppression.

Most of the worlds Greatest minds and activists were always social outcasts because they went against social norms or the perceived "natural" way that humans should behave.

i am now in my 75th year i am happily married and the father of 5 daughters and two sons i find women of all ages creative and i think that is the one traits that all females have built into their mental make up the one thing that mystifies me is that women now have been more or less accepted as equals in the medical profession and science research since the middle of the 1955-s that is about 58 years and still there has not been born a female genius or a female inventor of something that will go down in history as a great contribution to the human race or world ok.

there is nothing wrong with equality if it's for the good of the world but it appears it's the equal right
to greed and power is whats wanted there's enough of that already there's no problems in other fields
we have great women scientists, surgeons, scholars it's just the fast cars and the big houses and businesses but these are just as difficult for men to achieve

21st century, more women than men go on to higher education but how many of those people who started small internet companies in their garages, the ones that went on to be big names, Google, Twitter, Facebook, were set up by women?

It's not that men are smarter than women, it's because innovation means taking risks and men are the risk takers.

The reason why it's far more likely to be a man than a women who will burgle your house is the very same reason why what ever he is taking was probably invented and developed by men.

No, I'd say that there are just as many people with preconceived idea's on how a man should act. For example, apparently men are not allowed to show any emotional stress, other than anger, violence, if they dare to drop their defences and let the tears roll, also known as crying, they are belittled by everyone.

Perhaps if our society would let everyone decide how they wanted to be and what they wanted to do with their own lives, we'd have a lot less violence, war and fcked society.
