Is facebook closing down on March 15 2013?

I got a message from my friend, basically saying:

this is the creator of facebook. fb is getting overpopulated. people are complaining fb is slow. we are sending this message around to see who is active on fb. if you are active, send this to 15 people. if you don't send this within 2 weeks, you will be deleted.

is this true?

It's not true your friend is the victim of a viral message . Don't sent it to any of your friends. If facebook was actually closing down then they could easily send a message to everyone by themselves.

Your friend is tricking you....... it's a spam mail started by some 12 year old who wants attention and power.
