What is sparrowhawk symbolism?
What is sparrowhawk symbolism. I closed my facebook account and never see sparrowhawks, when I looked out the window one was staring straight at me for 10 mins or so. It was a male.

The sparrow hawk (ancient Egypt) was a sun symbol, protected from harm by the Pharaohs with the threat of death to those who killed or even injured one, they were revered as a bird of good luck/fortune, and as a sign of glory, known in many places as the 'bird of good fortune'
