Writing help PLEASE??????!!!?

i have been writing these little essay report things for fun like a new paper article. But i can't decide what category it goes under. Journalism or something else. my mom says it won't be journalism because i don't write for a paper or anything. i went to post on facebook saying:
My first _______??______ issue 1# of the walking apocalypse series is up and ready to be read. BUT i don't know what to put before that. basically the issue talks bout a specific legend if that helps at all.

Your situation is what started blogs years ago. A blog is a web log, a we-"blog" and people use them to publish all manner of things they find interesting. Facebook may or may not be the best blog platform. Google blog and look for free blogging sites.
