How to avoid getting your phone taken away at school and live without it HELP!!?

I was in P.E walking around the basketball court with 18 different people who didn't choose to participate or dress out. ( we could choose not to participate cause it was the last day of PE. ) I had my phone out ( I know stupid especially during PE) and I chose to take out my phone and check Instagram that moment one of the teachers saw my phone in my sleeve and told me to give it to them I felt so scared because I have an iPhone and my dad would kill me (because he doesn't know i take my phone to school ) so at the end of the day I lied to the teacher ( I felt bad but hey I needed my phone) and said I was trying to turn it off and I left an app open so that's why It popped up to Instagram. I brought a friend to be like " yeah before class he told me it was on and he was really trying to turn it off ".


The teacher said it was okay but it was too late and to go talk to the supervisor who locks up the phone and emails your parents u had ur phone out and they took it. It was before winter break and I had to leave it over break (2 weeks plus three school days of no phone)


but she said It was district policy they won't give it back to me after 3 school days. So my dad talked to the dean and said I couldn't live without my phone b/c no ones at home and I'm alone so he said it was ok and to give it back the 3 days we come back for school. Ever since that day I live in fear of getting my phone taken away and can't sleep at night or live without it. It would be ok if it was like my 1st phone cuz before I didn't have any data Internet ect. And now I have an iPhone and social media and can't live without it please help !!

if they take your phone which is your property thats theft

If you don't take your phone with you to school, you don't have to risk having it taken away. If it's off, there's no reason to have it in your hand. Be smart here.
