How do you change your background on twitter?

I'm new to twitter. I have no idea what I'm doing.

Well first you have to log in. Once you're logged in, click the little gear at the top right, towards the bottom of that list click "Settings." It takes you to a new page where there are a list of things you can change on the left side, on that list click "Design." The page changes, it gives you several pre-made ones for the site to choose from, or you can look for the "Change Background" button further down on the page and click "Choose existing image" to pick your own wallpaper from your computer.
