Why are my facebook comments not showing up in news website comments?

I have a facebook account WITHOUT any friends, but do have a photo. It's public.

But when I go to my local news websites to comment on stories, my comments appear to me on the site, but when I delete my cookies or use a different browser, my comments do NOT appear on the website. How is this possible? I've done this over 40 times. No one sees my posts. I know because there have been no responses and no likes. Anyone have any information? I cannot find anything online.

Check in your settings to see if you have your comments set to public. You may have them set to only you or private...
