iPad 2/3/4 Smart cover best combination?

I need a back protector to go with a smart cover to give the back protection of my iPad 4. I cant seem to find one that has a good protection, especially for the corners. I drop my iPad quite often so it has to be durable.

I don't want a combined smart cover and case because I would like to take it off when I'm using it sometimes.
