Why do I get random friend requests on Facebook?

Like some person (I don't even know the gender) friended me on Facebook and they're always posting stuff and I don't even know what they're saying, it's in like Arabic or something. And they're always chatting me. Why do they do that?

Foreign people ALWAYS try to break in to a group of facebook friends. I don't know why, but yea they are like always foreign. Once they friend one person they will have mutual friends so more and more people will friend them and not even know who they are. Always check to make sure they are really someone from school before adding them. Me personally, I only keep REAL friends on my facebook, but a lot of people like to add EVERYONE from school. Don't get why really. I only like to see updates from people I'm actually friends with.
