How to tell when someone added a friend?

I would like to find out when someone added someone else as a friend. I am the the friend of the first person, but not a friend to the person he added. Is there any way to tell when he added his new "friend"?

I can see the friends he has added recently, but I am interested in a friend added about six months ago.

Facebook requires users to manually approve friend requests. You get a notification in the upper left.

You must approve the friend request yourself. I don't think anyone can add a friend for you.

You can first enter his page and then click the side button to add as friends ,or you can send ask for his email address

Go to your friend's time line.

Scroll down until you found that event. I mean when he added that particular friend.

You can subscribe them if subscribe option is enabled on their profile.
