Does this guy like me?

There is this guy at school who looks at me a lot. From a distance he can stare for like more than half a minute, but when I come close he looks away. When I'm nearby he sometimes looks for 2-4 seconds. When he looks at me he looks like he's in a different world. The staring started after I followed him on twitter for 2 seconds because I clicked on the wrong button. The same day he followed me to the supermarket where I was waiting for a friend. The supermarket is 5 kilometres away from his home (He almost lives next to our school). My friends say he stares at me when I don't look, and he looks for me in the room. His friends look at me for ages, even if I'm nearby and am able to see it.
Also when he walks behind me in the corridor he goes to the toilet and looks in the mirror. But when he later walks by he doesn't look at me. Sometimes he's just being a dork with his friends, and always when he says something funny he looks at me.
I seriously have no idea what he thinks because I'm really bad with boys.

It seems that he's interested since he keeps looking at you, but he might just be shy and maybe that's why he try's to make it seem like he's not looking at you.

He likes you Alright! I mean hes staring at you because he feels something for you, but hes just shy because he really just thinks you don't like him back. If you like him, it might sound weird to ask him to talk but after talking to him you'll probably see what's going on.
