i made a tumblr, and its about music but where do i publicize it if i want to get more followers?

Several methods.
First, start following people with niches similar to yours, and reblog their stuff.
Second, go to twitter, create an account and search "tumblr follow me" there are hundreds of people doing so. Fan Pages in facebook are also a good way to gain followers. Search for trains in tumblr, where people follow each other.
