If i do this , will it be considered cruel? 10 pts for best answer?
so there's this girl in one of my classes at university that always chooses to sit right next to me and she kept looking at me so I approached her and started small talk. She gave me her # and told me that I should help her with the class and that she would repay me in coffee or energy drinks cause she noticed I drank that a lot everyday. and when I asked her why she would need my help she said that I seemed intelligent in class and that seniors should help underclassmen. (I found out on faceboook that she has a long distance bf however in the military)

fast forward a few days so . I asked her if she wanted to grab lunch or something and she said she always meets up with her brother for lunch and I was like ok fine, wanna hit up the rec later and she said she had to do something with her best friend.

I told her I had a strong distaste for people that acted like that and left it at that. I already deleted her number and am planning on deleting her on fb as well and not even acknowledging her in class. will that be cruel?

I don't think that you should dismiss her that quickly, but instead communicate with her respectfully.

Don't delete her off Facebook, but the rest is good. If you delete her off Facebook you'll just seem bitter because she wouldn't go out with you. Just ignore her, and remove her updates from showing up on your notifications, effectively the same thing, but you won't look so bitter. She'll probably come crawling back, but if she doesn't whatever, it sounds like you'd be fine either way.
