How to import Facebook contact pictures and phone numbers on the Kyocera rise?

I just got a new phone for Christmas! Woohoo!
Anyways, It's a Kyocera Rise , which uses Android. How do I get my phone to import Facebook contact phone numbers and pictures? It does it with Google + which is dumb and I don't want that at all.

When I downloaded the Facebook App it's supposed to ask me initially if I want to sync contacts, right? It didn't do that for me. I activated sync contacts for Facebook under my phone settings , as well.

Any ideas?

More likely, you will need to reset the syncing; the problem you encountered is the glitch... Try redoing the process you have followed.
