How do you delete a Facebook account?

My friend had down loaded some kind virus on her Facebook page and wanna delete it. How do she do it?

Under Account - go to Account Settings. Then at the bottom there is a buttom for deactivate. Click that.

go to account settings find where it says to deactivate your account and than type in your password and than you should be done
