He thinks I am FAKE???
This is my first time trying online dating. and i am talking to this one guy and we were fine. one day he asked me if he can add me on facebook but i told him my fb is deactivated. he replied back saying Him: "oh i was going to see if you wanted to ad so i can verify you're not a serial killer
Me: lol was that a joke?
Him:maybe Well ive had experiences with people not looking very similar to their match photos. that's why i ask
Me:Oh well i look like my pictures.that's why people meet in public places so they can escape
Him: lol k

He think i am beautiful and funny...but out of the blue he asked me this question. does he think i am too good to be true?

OK, you are new to online dating. So you are not aware of some of the dangers.
On any dating website (especially craigslist, but they ALL are bad) way more than 50% of the ads are fake. Among the female ads in particular, more than half of the women who are TRULY beautiful...the ad was posted by a scammer who is probably not even female.
There are many reasons that scammers post fake ads on dating sites. Usually, it involves trying to steal money and/or steal your identity.
The guy you are talking about has probably been victimized more than once by a scammer using (stolen) pictures that showed girls just as attractive as YOU are.

It's not that he thinks you are too good to be true. It's just that he is developing a sincere interest in you as a person...and thus he wants to verify that he's not being scammed, yet again.

YES, online dating really is quite a minefield. Girls get scammed just as much as guys do...

I would suggest that you set up an account on skype, and ask him to do the same. That way, you two can chat on web cam. Then you can see for yourself that you are both genuine people. Smile

But if this doesn't work out for both of you...

For future reference...even the high-end dating sites have more scam ads than ads from actual genuine people looking to meet someone. Online dating can be a fantastic way to meet someone. But you need to be aware that the odds are greater than 50% that the ad that catches YOUR eye might not be genuine. So do remember the skype advice I gave you earlier.
