How to get my life together?
I'm a unhealthy, chubby, 23 year old that still lives with her parents and works at a minimum wage job. I have 3,000 worth of credit card debt also. Ive dug a hole for myself. Trying to get my life together. Ive been going to school for 3 years and ive switched majors a lot. Have a lot of random general education, with no degree really in sight. I also have a lot of conditions (hypothyroidism, anemia, .ect) and I forget to take my medication a lot since i have to take it when i first wake up and have to wait an hour before eating. I'm so organized and my life is a mess. Please can anyone help me formulate a plan to get healthy, lose weight, get my education figured out (I have no idea what I want to do), get out of debt, and get a career going so I can move out and start my life? Any good advice is appreciated. Please do not make fun or be mean, I admit that I'm a mess I don't need you pointing it out without helping.

What u can do is put your medication in the fridge or kitchen where u can see it before u eat. Think about what you enjoy doing. Have u ever thought about cosmetology school? Its an in demand career and people will always want to look good even in a bad economy. Its not years of schooling either. You can even work for yourself create ads in a newspaper. A facebook page showing your portfolio..its a fun career and you'll always have great hair! As for the weight
. You could get a lapband if you're 30 pounds or more overweight. U will lose weight quick and its coverd by most insurances. You can always finish your degree later or take fewer courses so u can do everything else.

you know what
the first step is to be completely determined. so determined that your unstoppable
I'm not 23 1'm only 15 I probably have no idea what you are going through
but all my life I have been called, stupid and ugly and told that I couldn't do anything, sometimes even by own family.
I took up karate,
you don't need to take up a sport necessarily but this is how I changed my life
in elementary and middle school I was called and ugly and I was perceived as stupid
I took up karate in 6th grade, at the time I thought nothing of it.
one day someone said something and something snapped inside of me, after all those years of being tortured I was going to prove everyone wrong, I thought.
once I got to 7th grade everything was going great.
then I started to fail school and gained a lot of weight.
one day I was so ready to kill myself that I almost did
but I knew that I couldn't because that would be selfish and everyone around me would be different.
than something inside me changed.
I now took up boxing. I am one of the best fighters my teacher has ever seen, I am a straight A student, and have lost weight and all those bad decisions I made is what drives me to do my best even today. So what I am trying to say is you have to do your best. You can't say I'll find a career tomorrow. You say I will start now. Make good decisions now before they scar you for the rest of your life.

Lets first address your meds - buy one of those plastic containers that have compartments for each day of the week and put it by your bed or by your toothbrush or anywhere you think you'll see it when you first wake up.

Your degree can be anything - just pick something and stay with it. It doesn't matter right now what it is and if you like it. what does matter is that you get a degree as soon as you can.

Once you have a degree - this will open some doors to a better job. Once you get a better job you then can start paying off your dept and also get your post grad degree in something you like.

I know I made this sound simple but I found this out too late in life. I hope this helps
