Everyone is saying that there is a virus going around Facebook. Is it true and if so, What does it do you your computer?

Every websites have some kind of virus whether u like it or not..
Facebook is relatively low (normal)
so doesnt matter
unless u are using strange apps

There are some malicious applications, and people can post links to malware sites too. Facebook often catches these and may suspend the person's account. That doesn't help though if you already installed the app or clicked the bad link.

If you are using a Microsoft Windows computer what you need to do is:

* get and update a reliable anti-virus program and run it regularly

* download and install all the system updates promptly

* keep your web browser updated

Windows is popular but not the most secure computer operating system, so you need to be extra careful.
