How do I make new friends?
Okay so, after losing my ex friend, I am ready to move on! I want to make a new set of friends. How do I do this?! I was thinking of posting an ad on Craigs List. (this is another subject, for another question, but I'll ask anyway) Has anyone made friends from Craigs List? If so, did you meet in a public setting? E.g Walmart.

Please give me some advice on how to make more friends. I have another friend that hanged out with us, with my ex friend. She is not my ex friends friend anymore either.

Join social networks like meetin dot org, or meetup dot com.

By the way, meetin.org is STRICTLY PLATONIC. People often confuse it for a dating website, but it's just for making friends.

I am very good at meeting acquaintances, you may call them friends, but I have VERY FEW actual close friends. My close friends are so important to me, and with them there is no such things as becoming an "ex friend". Usually such things happen with more shallow acquaintances who I would hang around with a lot for several months, but that's about all.

What I do is just strike up conversations with people at school or anywhere, in a non creepy way or course. lol If you have trouble with this, normally letting the other person talk about themselves in a step in the right direction.
