How to live life alone?
Okay so I guess Ive realized that I'm probobly gonna live my whole life alone. My parents consider me a burden at worse, and a mild annoyance at best. I have no friends, and no one really seems to like me at all. The only thing i have going for me is the fact that I'm not completley hideous, but i have no desire for a relationship with someone because I'm pretty sure they'll get tired of me quickly, just like everone else has. I dont really deserve to be happy anyway. Ive given up on making friends, or bieng more social. I feel completley drained and am ready to accept the fact that having a social life and friends just isnt for me. I just want to know if its possible to go through life like this without becoming completely insane. I just want to have a peace of mind, and be content with living alone. Thanks, I have been past the point of regret and grief, and am ready to accept it.

I think it is possible to live this way, thought it might not be preferable for some people, if you want to, I don't see why not. Going insane is probably avoidable - maybe by going out every now and then - not to make friends, but just to a movie or something. Find something you love, make it your passion, you may find you don't need friends. It's your life, and your choice, good luck!

Once you decide to be happy and change the negative tone in your post, you will begin to feel better about yourself. Tell yourself "I am good, I am wonderful, talented, beautiful, etc. Upbeat will get you farther than being down on yourself. Whatever you say that you are is going to come looking for you. So get out of the pity party and be good to you...Happy new year.

It seems you've had a rough time of it and I guess I can see where you're coming from. I think what you need to do is spend plenty of time with yourself and make sure this is exactly what you want. I get that you've had lots of bad experiences, but there's nothing wrong with wanting to find someone.
Once that's decided, find out what your passions are and focus on that. This doesn't mean just working or doing stuff that pays the bills although this is definitely important. You've probably heard enough stuff about finding a job you like etc but it's true. You'll do much better and get bigger and better rewards for doing what you love the most.
Find a hobby and do that too. It will help get your mind off the things that bother you. treat yourself every once in a while like for your birthday or days that are likely to make you feel lonely like Valentine's or Christmas. Love yourself a little more and you'll find it easier to live with yourself Smile
I also think religion might be a good idea if you believe in it. It feels better to be alone when you're not exactly lonely.
Well, that's as much advice as I can give you for now, but I hope it helps and I wish you all the best.

it depends on you, your inner resources
obviously loneliness is unhealthy as a rule, but still it may be useful and necessary in the short to medium term
but in the long term ?
really ?
nah
anyone can do better than that.
