We had an "eco-week" to show parents how we are green and hwo they can suppot at home. We sent home a checklist of things they can do and why -turning off taps properly, putting rubbish inthe right bin, walking to preschool. The parents and child did this together and then brought form back for a certificate.

We have simple schemes such as:
three different bins with pics on so children are learning about recyclables etc.
junk model where parents and child make old things into new things-lots of messy fun!
recycleing mobiles and ink cartridges schemes.

I know that the primary school have a green council where the children get together to talk about how they think they can improve the school.
