How to fix this status problem on facebook?

when i update my status a lock appears next to it, and it says "Only Me"
so i have to change it to "Friends" each time i update my status. its getting really annoying, it didnt start happening till facebook changed again.

so is there a place to where its not always set on "only me" and make it the default setting of "fiends" or which ever option i choose? thanks

Pretty simple..

go to privacy settings... There you will find the setting called "Who can see my stuff"... Change it accordingly...
