Empty description when sharing blog posts on Facebook?

I usually see blogger posts shared on Facebook with a full description (having the first few lines as a description), but when I share mine, the description field is empty

Anyone knows how to solve this?

You Cant Control What Descriptions Show when you Share Blogs on Facebook it will Take Anything From the Page and Display it as a Discription

Not really sure you can control that, but perhaps if you have a block of ads before the text or something it might cause FB to miss it.

Also, if you don't have meta description for your posts thenthis may be the reason, although I'm not sure if FB even goes by that but I know a lot of sites do.
