Is it safe to play the games on Facebook?

I'm on Facebook everyday. The games look cool but I'm very reluctant to give a third party access to my personal information. Do I have anything to worry about? Can I get a virus playing any of the games on Facebook? Thank you.

You cannot get any viruses from Facebook games, I have played many and no viruses, at all. It is totally safe.

I haven't played them in a long time because I don't trust them. I played years ago but stopped when my email kept getting hacked. As soon as I stopped, hacking stopped. Could be coincidence but I haven't played sense.

Not anymore, a new virus was recently introduced to the facebook game server. This will forcibly make your computer close every link you open up, the only way to get around this error is to press ctrl-w right after starting the program. It may close the first time but i assure you this is only a minor glitch and if you keep trying, it'll activate properly.
