How do I get a facebook pop up OFF my homepage?
I have a facebook page strictly for a federal court case to be viewed only by officials. It is not a page for friends and family members to post their personal albums, at this time, which was made clear when I first signed up for the page. Facebook has added an "Add Personal Contacts as Friends" large pop up that won't go away and it's not allowing the entire homepage to be viewed because of it. I have to direct everyone to the next page for that. How do I have them remove it? I've contacted FB but no reply... "Thanks!"

I am certainly no computer whiz, in fact I have little if any tech. savvy, however, I have had some difficulties in the recent past, and was able to resolve them effectively. There are lots of internet pop-up type viruses which attach themselves to your system when you go to certain sites. They are arbitrary and not necessarily an indication that of improper computer activity. Sometimes our system gets compromised and we need to have it flushed by a professional. I found GEEKS at geeks.com to be very adequate and affordable. They offer a 10 day trial offer where one of their techs calls you and accesses your system remotely and does a scan removing all viruses and mal-wear which may be attached to your system. It has helped my system and gotten rid of lots of the issues with my system, one of them being unwanted pop-ups you can not get rid of.

They make me crazy and I cuss at them like they are red headed step children but they won't leave. Geeks took care of the problem; hope this helps.
