What are 10 apps that are essential and 10 apps that are cool for Android Phones?

I just purchased a Motorola Droid and am to receive it Wednesday. I am interested in knowing what you feel are 10 essential apps to have on the Droid and, also, 10 cool apps for the droid. So, give me two lists please. Thanks for your help.

in response to another poster, I'd just like to point out that you should UNDER NO CONDITIONS use any form of task killer in android. For those of us that use windows/mac, it seems logical that you would need one, but that isn't the way it works. To put it simply, in android an app will only be running if it NEEDS to be running. Killing a task will do nothing more than make it restart itself. Android itself pretty much has a task killer that kills any app that doesnt need to be running.
