Can anybody tell me how can I make my Facebook community more appealing and attractive?

There are different ways for your community to be more active, you didn't mention that your community is a page or a group, if it is a page you are luckier, just try these simple steps:
1/ Try to post regularly, your fans need new data every day, try to post things that are relevant to your page subject as posting irrelevant subjects or post (e.g> if your page is about health and beauty do not talk or post about sport that are two different matters) in this case it make you fans run away or even unlike your page.

2/ Try to ask your fans what they like through "Facebook questions" which is a great way to drive traffic and more fans to your community and on the other hand it helps you maintain your previous fans and get to know them and their interests better, this way you can post things most of them like.

3/ If you use a Facebook page, try to install a landing page for it, it means you create a "Welcome tab" and in that tab you say hello to your visitors and that how happy you are that they are visiting you page and you can ask them gently to press like button, Smiling and polite language always do their best.

4/ Try to advertise your page on the other pages as well, for example pages with more than 30.000 likes, so that more people see your post and even if only about about 2% of them open your link and like your page it might be more than 500 likes, but before posting your advertisement contact that page admin by through the "Message" section and ask him or her if you can advertise your community in their page, as if you don't they may report your post and Facebook may block your account permanently for the violation their rights.
