Does verizon wireless charge for hotmail notifications?
I have unlimited text messaging, and the notifications come in as a text like '(insert address here) sent you a message: hi' like that.

I do NOT have internet on my phone, I'm just worried that I'm being charged for this, even though hotmail said it was free depending on your plan.

help?

If it's just text messages, you should not be charged.
But, it can't hurt to check your bill just to make sure.

There are a lot that you can do with text messages if you don't have a data plan. I used to use google's free SMS information service all the time before I got my first smartphone. Check that out at http://www.google.com/mobile/sms/search/ You can also have things like twitter and facebook alerts automatically forwarded to you via SMS.
