Does verizon wireless charge for hotmail notifications?
I have unlimited text messaging, and the notifications come in as a text like '(insert address here) sent you a message: hi' like that.
I do NOT have internet on my phone, I'm just worried that I'm being charged for this, even though hotmail said it was free depending on your plan. help? Ads |

If it's just text messages, you should not be charged.
But, it can't hurt to check your bill just to make sure. There are a lot that you can do with text messages if you don't have a data plan. I used to use google's free SMS information service all the time before I got my first smartphone. Check that out at http://www.google.com/mobile/sms/search/ You can also have things like twitter and facebook alerts automatically forwarded to you via SMS. Ads |
