My 8 month old MacBook Pro is being very slow with the internet, could it have a virus?

In the past week or so YouTube vids have been pathetically slow and sometimes even browsing Facebook takes a while. I fear my Mac is infected from downloads, even though it seems to work well with other programmes. How do I find out if anything's wrong?

Well even if some people deni it facebook does slow your computer and well that is one possibility. it can also be that with all that browsing the computer uses little memory portions wich are then stored on your computer and they build up with time. it happens to all of us. if its doing this with your whole computer you have to do a disk defragment(START-ALL PROGRAMS-Disk Defragment) it might take awhile.BUT if its only on the internet then you can go to http://www.finalyfast.com and do a free diagnosis. you can aloso call their number at: (800) 352-9083.
