1. Affiliate Marketing
This is the process of recruiting others to promote your products on their websites or blogs. You should provide them with ad copy and banners to make it easy for them to market and promote your products. You will have to pay a percentage of each sale to your affiliates. 2. Link Building One of your goals should be to attain a good ranking with all of the popular search engines. One way to do this is through link building. This can be done through trading links to other businesses that are related to yours. You shouldn't approach websites and blogs that are in direct competition with you, however. 3. E-mail Marketing & Newsletters This is probably one of the most cost-effective internet marketing tools. It remains a very important method of keeping your customers aware of your products and services. Just make sure to avoid spamming or soon enough you will have to close down your business due to complaints. You should probably not send out more than one email per week to your list. Some marketers even claim to have better luck with bi-weekly mailings. 4. Bonuses In the affiliate marketing world, many people are often promoting the same products. If you offer bonuses to those who purchase through your links, you'll have an edge over the competition. One of the main selling points of any online product is value. Providing an extra ebook or piece of software as an incentive to purchase through your affiliate links can be the difference between the sale going to you or someone else. Make sure your bonuses are related to or complement the product you are promoting. 5. Article Marketing If you write quality content for your website along with great product reviews, search engines will be more apt to index your website. Getting your website indexed by popular search engines means more traffic for you, and traffic equals sales. It is a great idea to submit your articles to several article directories with a backlink to your blog. You should also make use of social media sites as well. 6. Forums Expanding your network by joining forums is a fantastic way to get the word out about your products and services. You should make sure that the forums you join are related to your niche. Actively posting quality information will build your reputation in the forum and get you known as an expert in your market. Make sure you include a link to your blog or website in your forum signature. 7. Web 2.0 Web 2.0 is a relatively new phenomenon. It refers to sites where the content is strictly submitted by the public. It can also refer to sites where the content is constantly being changed or updated such as blogs. Many people are doing away with their "static" websites in favor of Web 2.0. Posting new and unique content to these sites often will give you valuable backlinks and traffic. 8. Classifieds More and more marketers are using free classified ads to promote their affiliate products. You can use these sites just like article directories. Submit some content to them with a link to your sales page or blog. You can post entire articles to these sites and they often rank very high on the search engines. Ads |

If you need money real quick, make some flyers and pass them out putting them on peoples houses. This is what I did when I started promoting some of my affiliates.
