I got the facebook virus because I'm an idiot. I got it on a PC that later turned to a zombie. A computer expert came in and cleaned the laptop and everything on it, at all. On my Mac, I deactivated my facebook for 2 or 3 weeks. I'm afraid to reactivate it in case the virus is still there but idk. Can anyone help?

If the computer expert has done his job well and completely cleaned the computer(s), then you are good to go.

In addition, if you want to make sure Please run a anti-malware scan using any antivirus programs you may have, in addition to http://housecall.trendmicro.com . If it finds any infections, delete them all.

If it comes up clean then everything should be OK. You can go ahead and reactivate your account.

If you still have problems / not sure, check out the link below. You will get the help you need to resolve this issue, if this post can't help you.

Good luck Wink
