Facebook and subscribing, please help.?
Ok so there are certain people I do not want knowing my business, how can I make it to where people cannot just subscribe to me without my permission first? I have ignored their friend requests but I do not want them still subscribing to me.. These are people I do not want in my life anymore. So can someone please help me? Thanks.

It should be either in settings or account somewhere where you can set it to private

You cannot limit people subscribing You.. You can do that in friend requests.. i.e. that U can either Accept Or Ignore it... but in subscribing.. U cant really tell FB who U think shud be able to sub and who shudnt.. still there are some options and features on FB.. that limit the information U share with people not in Ur friend list, but in subscribed list..

Block those peoples or hide your subscriptions. To hide subscription, follow these steps

Go to your profile page. Below your profile picture left side of your profile you will see a menu where you will find a button "Subscribers" click on it

After you clicked subscribers you will see a new page showing your subscribers and in the right side click on "Edit Settings" button as shown above in the image.

Now you can see a new popup window with subscribers comments and notification options.

Now select "Subscribers" to be turn "Off" so that no one will able to subscribe your public updates. If you just want to turn off "Comments" then select turn "Off" then if you would to turn off notifications then select the option as "No One" by default it will be "friends of friends" as shown in above image. Now press ok and you are done.

Kat you can simply just block these specific users that you don't want being in contact with you. This will prevent them from seeing your profile or subscribing to you entirely

How do I block someone?

To block someone:

-Click at the top right of any Facebook page.
-Click How do I stop someone from bothering me?
-Enter the name or email address of the person you want to block and click Block.
-People will not be notified when you block them.

If you can’t find someone using this method, try going to the person’s timeline and selecting Report/Block This Person from the dropdown.
