Nope, naruhina fans just got teased. They "held" hands and everyone thought that Naruto was finally going to say that he loved her, but he didn't confess anything.

I agree with the answer above me. Madara and Obito were teasing Naruto after Neji's death saying that he couldn't keep his word of "I'm not going to let a single friend die" (I know it's not the exact quote but it's something like that). He was about to like, "fall" but then Hinata slapped him back to his senses, gave him a lecture/speech about friendship and all that (she lingered her hand on his face though).
Then Naruto's like "thanks Hinata" and he grabs her hand and activates Kyuubi mode and she got engulfed in Kyuubi chakra. Naruto didn't think of it as romantic at all. The only reason he grabbed her hand was to transfer Kyuubi chakra. But of course Hinata did... -_- Saying "his hand is big"

Yeah, I was seriously thinking that NaruHina was really going to happen because of that chapter, turns out that Naruto, as always, never looks at Hinata in that way..After Hinata confessed her love to Naruto when she fought Pain; he never spoke to her about it afterwards; almost as if he had forgotten (or at least wanted to forget) she had told him. Kinda sucks.

Kishi is giving minor characters like Ino and Hinata some face-time nothing more, nothing less.

The hand-holding was Hinata confused as ever and naruto as innocent as ever. (he was holding her hand to transfer chakra, nothing more.)

As it stands, the only person Naruto has openly confessed his love for is Sakura.
