Netflix just shows a black screen after installing Silverlight plug-in?
I have a MacBook Pro 10.5.8 and my browser is Safari 5.0.6, after accidentally choosing to install the Silverlight plugin for Netflix, I can no longer stream videos. I have restarted my browser, cleared my cookies, emptied my cache, reset Safari, uninstalled and re-installed the Silverlight plugin multiple times, and restarted my computer yet Netflix still will not play. I always just get a black screen.
When my plugins are disabled, Netflix tells me I need to install Silverlight, but when I re-enable them Netflix simply doesn't play. Disabling Java still gave me a black screen, and disabling JavaScript simply prompted Netflix to tell me I needed it to stream videos. Re-enabling it, I still just have a black screen.

I'm unable to download Google Chrome or Firefox because I don't have the proper software on my seemingly outdated Mac, so I don't know if it's simply Safari that is the problem. Is Silverlight simply not adapted to work on my 10.5 version? If so that's a severe oversight, and I'd like it to be resolved because I pay for Netflix and this is pissing me off.
