Is FaceBook the worst thing for relationships?

I recently broke up with my GF and i have to say i feel like its FaceBook's fault. I kept seeing all these pig guys hit on my GF over it and finally i had enough so i removed her as a friend. I told her it was better this way that we just stayed separate on social media sites. She took it the wrong way and freaked out on me. (Obviously she takes the stupid site way too serious).

This goes both ways though. Any female who would talk to me or post on the site would anger her as well. It makes me think the site is a death sentence for any and all relationships.

Personally i hardly ever use the site at all. But she was one of those social media addicts that had to post literally everything she was doing in her life. And people like that just annoy me so i didnt want to see it anymore.

Do you think people in relationships should skip out on social media?
