Do you need to call Dish Network to get a sling adapter?
What I mean is that do you need to call Dish Network and have them setup it up with your account information or can you buy it off eBay or Amazon and connect it yourself?

You can order a Sling Adapter from DISH or another company. You can visit mydish.com to order your Sling Adapter and will need to have a 722, 722K or Hopper to use this.
