What is the "Other" category on my Itouch? Should it be that high?

I have a 8gb Itouch that I just got.
I have two apps: iheartradio & facebook.
The main apps that already come on the Itouch.
Seven Hundred Songs, w/ no album art.
No pictures or Videos.

But my other category takes up most of the capacity? What is other, and is this normal? Can I delete stuff to make the "other" category lower? Pleaaase Help.

Did you make sure to click the "clear cover art" button after right clicking? Or did you selest your entire library and check the album art box, because if you did the latter, then the album art still takes up space, and you have to "clear" it. Also, do you have voice over? because that takes up space too Hope this helped
