How do i promote my youtube video?

My friend and i are trying to start a new channel on youtube sort of like a blog. We made our first video yesterday and posted it and barely have any views

Tell Ur friends about stand add people on YouTube who has tons of views subscribe to lots of ppl and mention to then about Ur channel.

I suggest informing your friends and family about the video. Add more tags on the video so users can have the opportunity to find your video based on its tags. Subscribe to popular youtube users and they'll subscribe to you. Post your video link to your blog, your hotmail, or interesting sites. Good luck!

Try some of the following things:
-Add tags that are relevant to the video.
-Share the video on your Twitter, Facebook, Myspace, blog, Hotmail, and other places.
-Tell friends and family about it. Ask them to share your video and promote it.
