Hi Brad,

As this issue has started to occur recently, the best thing to do is to restore your system to a known good date.

Click the link below for detailed instructions on how to perform system restore.

Hope this works.

Thanks & Regards

Hi :-)
Hahaha LOL... I've been there before...
Probably the easiest way to fix it is to run the free utility ComboFix.
I have used it more times than I can count, and it fixes it every time!
You can download it from here: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/combofix/

WARNING: Only download it from the bleepingcomputer.com link I provided.
There are false websites that CLAIM to have this file and then they infect you when you try to install it.
ComboFix takes a few minutes to run, but when it's done, you should be back to normal :-)

I like System Restore of Windows, but I always try to correct it an alternative way at least once, before moving on to the windows system restore, as it sometimes has unwanted affects too...

Also, I would removed ALL Toolbars in Add/Remove Programs of Control Panel (called Programs and Features in Windows Vista and above)

Generally go to the Add/Remove programs panel, and remove any programs that seem like you did not install or they should not be there. If you find "mystart" in there, delete it. Also, go into your browser settings and delete the add-ons you don't want, like mystart and FaceBook. Also you can change your homepage on the browser or the default search engine back to Google if you wish. Download Ad-Block Plus as an add - on, and you will not see any adds in the future, preventing this from happening again.
