Stupid bar at top of my internet. How do I get rid of it?
So i thought I was downloading a movie but then when I was done this stupid bar thing popped up at the top of my internet (Google Crome) And it has like buttons that you can press to get to like places like a search box and facebook notifications, music, (that's not even mine) etc. It also changed my search engine to Bing and I want to get rid of this thing. I've done it before for something else like this but I can't remember how I did it. So can anyone help me??
I have google crome Its at the top of my crome right under the place where you put in the URL (I'm not handy with computers) It changed my search engine to Bing (who wants Bing?? It sucks) Can someone please please help me??? I hate it and want it gone. Thank you (Please give a step by step instruction, I'm not so smarth with computers sooo) Thanks again!! Ads |

First, type "chrome://extensions" (no quotes) into the address bar (the text box after the Home button). Find the extension you believe caused the bar to show up by clicking the trashcan icon next to the extension. A prompt will appear, click "Remove". Next, close and open Google Chrome. If your search engine is still Bing, you probably have malware, and will have to download an anti-virus program (see link below).
