The plan would be to send regular emails or facebook messages as to how each of us are doing, and what we've eaten.

I belong to a site called FatSecret. There are lots of groups there, and lots of apps you can use to monitor your weight loss, food intake, etc. People get buddies and comment on each other's diaries. ∠°)

Diets dont work, they are a waste of time. You may lose weight on a diet but as soon as you come of the diet you put all the weight back on. No-one wants to spend their life on a diet, by changing your eating habits and lifestyle you can eat without feeling guilty. An healthy vegan diet plus regular exercise should help you maintain an healthy weight. Counting calories and measuring food will not help you maintain the weight you desire long term, you will feel deprived and become obsessed with food.

@mermaid said it best. diets don't work. south-beach, 3-a-day, hopkins-diet, Garden of eaden diet; they all set you up for failure.
That's b/c your body doesn't work the same as everyone elses. your caloric needs & amount of protein, salt, iron, potassium...ect depedn on your activity level & your height/weight/age.

Nope, I don't diet... I eat what I want in moderation and eat a variety of foods. There is a reason the diet industry is a multi billion dollar industry.... IT DOESN'T WORK!!
