I want to open my own t shirt shop online and design my shirts and sell them..does anyone know how to get started?

Well, here are some steps you can take to get started:

-First, make sure you already have several examples of shirts that you've designed, and determine if there is a demand for your work. Maybe ask friends in your social networks if they would ever buy one of your shirts.

-You also have to have a way to print out the shirts and deliver them to customers.

-Then, take a look at what other sites that sell t-shirts are doing- ex: threadless.com, http://www.zazzle.com/funny+tshirts

-You will need an ecommerce themed site that offers secure online payment methods to your customers.

-You could use Wordpress + an ecommerce theme to develop your site or use a website builder or some other third party service.

-Then you'll need to promote the site online to generate interest and get your site indexed for desirable keywords

-I suggest you join a few online groups or forums targeted to online business owners (ex: Social Media Examiner Networking Clubs and the Warrior Forum)
